In my new series, I turn my focus on the rich diversity of marine life in my journey of self-discovery, marrying the depth of the ocean with the subconscious mind. The mystery of the deep ocean and the yet to be discovered marine life mirror our ongoing discovery of the power of our subconscious minds.
Paddy Series I
In the first series, I wanted to share the beauty and serenity of the Sekinchan paddy fields. I captured what I observed on canvas and I also created a few paintings that expressed the essence of the fields. These paintings were exhibited in a group exhibition in 2017. I am delighted that they were well-received for its messages of serenity, abundance and harvest.
Paddy Series II
Following on from the first series, I felt inspired to use the paddy fields as a metaphor for the cycle of life and to explore various themes relevant to one’s life journey. This second series chronicles my personal and spiritual journey from 2019 to 2021 - how the decision to separate from my life partner led to the discovery of my inner voice, spirituality, the universal intelligence and life purpose.
Made-To-Order Paintings
I have created various made-to-order paintings such as oil portraits, feng shui paintings and abstract artwork over the past few years. For each commission, I work closely with clients to understand their needs and fulfil them. I specialise in creating oil portraits of individuals, couples and families to commemorate special events such as birthdays, weddings or the passing of loved ones.

The fields are a metaphor for the cycle of life and our life journey. I have learnt so much during my visits: Each time I visit the fields, the view changes as I see the different stages of paddy plantation. But always serene, always expansive, always inspiring. ❤️
