Why Do I Have a Special Interest in Painting The Paddy Fields of Malaysia?
The fields are a metaphor for the cycle of life and our life journey. I have learnt so much during my visits:
~ the impermanence of life
~ change & new chapters in life
~ weathering storms & challenges
~ life's unpredictability
~ patience & persistence
~ harvesting the fruits of our labour
~ growth & development
~ non-attachment, non-resistance & non-judgment
Each time I visit the fields, the view changes as I see the different stages of paddy plantation. But always serene, always expansive, always inspiring. ❤️
